I DO NOT like going in to have any kind of dental work done. I always find myself gripping the arms of the chair like I am holding on for dear life. However, when I walked into the endodontist office, I was immediately greeted by Lisa. She introduced me to Christianna, who would assist Dr. Patel with my root canal. I was guided back to a small room, where Christianna and I chatted about some commonalities. By the time, Dr. Patel entered and introduced himself, I was feeling more at ease. He explained what he would be doing and suggested I shut my eyes before giving me the numbing shots. Even though I was wearing a pair of protective glasses, I am glad I followed his advice and closed my eyes. While the procedure took place,, Dr. Patel and Christianna spoke quietly. I could hear Lisa and another dental assistant chatting and laughing at the front desk and I have to admit, I couldn’t help but laugh at their conversation as well. Or, as well as I could with my mouth open. I looked down and noticed that both of my hands were resting comfortably on the chair, arms… No death grip! Before I knew it, the procedure was completed. The entire atmosphere at Dr. Patel‘s office was very comfortable and relaxed. The staff all seem to enjoy working with each other. That helped to make me so much more comfortable and at ease. Christianna and Lisa were both very professional and kind. I remember thinking that I would definitely choose to go to this office again if needed. And then, after returning home, Dr. Patel called me to see how I was doing! The caring an extra kindness was so appreciated.
